The General Overseer of Shekinah Arena Gospel Ministries, Evangelist Dr. Gospel Agochukwu, has confirmed that he survived a serious road accident that kept him away from public ministry for several months.
The cleric made the disclosure on Sunday during his first church service since the incident, ending months of speculation surrounding his health.
Rumours had circulated in April suggesting that the Port Harcourt based preacher was involved in a fatal motor accident, with unverified reports claiming he had died.
The claims were, however, dismissed at the time by the founder of Answer Assembly Christian Ministries, Bishop Irabor.
Speaking to members of his congregation after returning to the pulpit, Agochukwu expressed gratitude to God for preserving his life and thanked worshippers for standing by the ministry throughout his absence.
He commended the congregation for their loyalty, noting that attendance remained steady despite his prolonged absence from the church.
The evangelist said the ministry would dedicate an entire month to thanksgiving in appreciation of God’s faithfulness, adding that he believed his survival was evidence that his divine assignment was not yet complete.
Although he did not reveal details of the crash or the medical treatment he received, his appearance before the congregation marked his first public outing since the accident.
