City Boy Movement announces inauguration committees

The Ondo State chapter of the City Boy Movement has constituted 11 committees to coordinate the inauguration of its newly established State Executive Council and the commencement of its activities in the state.

The inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10am at The Dome, Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State.

The event will be conducted by the National Executive Council of the movement, led by Hon. Francis Shoga, alongside other members of the national leadership.

The organisers said the inauguration would attract political leaders, government officials, youth leaders, community stakeholders, members of the movement and supporters from the 18 local government areas of the state.

The City Boy Movement is a grassroots political support organisation established to mobilise young people and other stakeholders for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The Ondo chapter said its activities would centre on youth mobilisation, grassroots engagement, political communication, community outreach, advocacy, political education and coordinated support programmes. It added that the inauguration would strengthen collaboration between the national and state structures and provide a framework for grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 election.

The committees constituted for the event are the Central Committee for Inauguration, chaired by Hon. Tomide Akinribido, with Mr. Temitope Eladiya as co-chairman and Adeniyi Paul as secretary; Media, Publicity and Documentary Committee, chaired by Oluyemi Fasipe, with Dayo Joseph as co-chairman and Oluwafemi Odofin as secretary; Contact and Mobilisation Committee, chaired by Comr. Akintayo Olayinka, with Opeyemi Adedeji as co-chairman and Atolusi Damilola as secretary; and Empowerment and Fundraising Committee, headed by Mr. Temitope Eladiya, with Hon. Kolade Paff as co-chairman and Hon. Bode Asogbon as secretary.

Other committees are Procurement and Logistics, chaired by Lekan Falokun, with Mr. Temitope Eniola as co-chairman and Olatinpo Olaniyi Toofan as secretary; Venue and Decoration, chaired by Mrs. Adekunle Olubunmi, with Moyin Adesipe as secretary; Protocol and Security, chaired by Wole Olugbode, with Timothy Ayesuwa as secretary; Welfarism, chaired by Hon. Princess Wunmi Fayemi-Obayelu, with Hon. Akinlolu (7 Star) as co-chairman and Olamide Deborah as secretary; Entertainment, chaired by Ayokunle Ajisafe; Hospitality, chaired by Hon. Abiodun Oriade Taofeek, with Adedayo Ayodele Femi Sabali as co-chairman and Kudehinbu Queen as secretary; and Medical, chaired by Dr. Omosehin Adeyemi-Osowe, with Pharm. Kehinde Babalola as secretary.

The Central Committee members are Hon. Wunmi Fayemi-Obayelu, Hon. Oriade Taofeek, Hon. Roseline Ayeni, Hon. Olayinka, Tope Iwagun and Hon. Fagbemi. The Media, Publicity and Documentary Committee members are Maha Olubukola, Itiolu Adeyemi Paul, Anyanwu Oxford, Akinboye Temidayo James, Yomi Oyekan, Akinlolu Hannah and Ogundeyi Adeoluwa Peter. The committee will handle media strategy, publicity, press relations, digital communication, photography, videography, documentation, live coverage and post-event media engagement.

The Contact and Mobilisation Committee comprises Raaji Raheem, Olawale Ijanusi, Jude Ejike, Hon. Ajayi Kunle Temitope, Comr. Alo Alex Kayode, Mr. Henry Adewole (PWD), Hon. Akomolafe Adewale and all LG coordinators. The Empowerment and Fundraising Committee has Hon. Mrs. Roseline Ayeni, Hon. Kolade Fasoranti, Hon. Tayo Oluyi Akintade, Hon. Shola Elekan, Hon. Dr. Omosehin Adeyemi Osowe, Alhaji Olabode Saheed Akinola, Hon. Oguns Tajudeen Olayemi and E-Swift Dayo Ezekiel as members.

The Procurement and Logistics Committee has Raphael Osingboye and Agboola Olatujoye as members, while the Venue and Decoration Committee includes Judith Jolomi and Tolulope Otetubi. The Protocol and Security Committee comprises Ponle Segun, Toyin Owoeye, Oluwadimu Akinsuyi, Betiku Rotimi, Gbadamosi Abdullahi and Oluwadamilare Timothy Oloowokere.

Members of the Welfarism Committee are Olubunmi Blessing, Mercy Ganpatei Samuel, Olawunmi Alaba Olorunshola, Alhaja Waliyat Kemi Kataja, Onayemi Eunice and Funmilayo Michael Olagoke. The Entertainment Committee has Yomi Expensive and Adeshina Obafunsho, while the Hospitality Committee includes Beauty Modimu and Adetunji Oluwaseyi.

The Medical Committee members are Dr. Adedayo Fayanju, Dr. Ebunoluwa Ogunbiyi, Dr. Omotehinse, Nurse Aregbesola, Nurse Idowu Adeloye and Ademola Iyantan.

The movement invited its members, supporters, stakeholders and other guests to attend the inauguration, describing it as the beginning of a new phase of organised youth mobilisation and grassroots engagement in support of its mandate.

The statement was signed by Oluyemi Fasipe, also known as Yemie Fash, Director of Media and Communication, City Boy Movement, Ondo State Chapter.
