The United States Department of Homeland Security has published an updated list containing the names and photographs of 112 Nigerians facing removal from the country.
The latest list was made available on the official DHS website as part of the agency’s ongoing immigration enforcement activities.
The Nigerians identified in the publication are from different parts of the country, with their names, photographs and other details displayed on the online portal.
Those listed include Cletus Onyali, Olaolu Alabi, Marcus Unigwe, Mkpouto Etukudoh, Blessing Uchanma, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Richard Ugbah, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Anthony Asanya and Ebele Agbasiele.
Others are Izuchukwu Okoye, Olufemi Olufisayo Olutiola, Abiemwense Obanor, Chibuzo Nwaonu, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Ifeanyi Okoro, Oluwaseun Kassim, Quazeem Adeyinka and Talatu Dada.
The complete publication contains 112 names, while photographs and additional information on the individuals are accessible through the DHS online platform.
The development comes amid intensified immigration enforcement in the US, particularly against undocumented migrants and individuals who have outstanding removal orders.
US authorities have also been seeking greater cooperation from foreign governments in accepting their citizens who have been ordered to leave the country.
Nigeria has previously come under pressure from the US regarding the repatriation of Nigerians facing deportation after exhausting their legal options to remain in the country.
The latest DHS publication therefore makes the identities and photographs of the Nigerians currently listed for removal publicly accessible on the agency’s website.
