Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed a former Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ogundeji Iroju, as his Special Adviser on Legislative Matters.
The governor also approved the appointment of the first batch of Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants as part of his latest changes to his administration.
The appointments were contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Among those appointed as Senior Special Assistants are Olaoluwa Adesanya, who will oversee Inter-Party Affairs, and Seyi Lawrence Aletile, appointed as SSA on Entertainment and Tourism.
Others are Adekunle Orisamoluwa, SSA on Support Groups Activities, and Hon. Favour Semilore Tomomewo, SSA on Public Health.
Temilola Odetola was also appointed as Special Assistant on Civil Society Organisations, while other SSAs and SAs were contained in the first batch released by the state government.
The appointments take immediate effect, according to the statement, which described the new appointees as part of the governor’s efforts to strengthen his administration across various sectors.
Adeniyan said further details on the other appointments in the first batch were contained in an attached list released alongside the announcement.
